Provide a safe and clean environment for your irrigation system components with the 14 in. X 19 in. Standard Series Green Valve Box and ICV Cover. Built for durability, this valve box fits over valves, control zone kits, and other irrigation accessories and allows easy access for maintenance. The green box and green lid are engineered with structural reinforcing ribs for added strength to prevent damage from the elements, pedestrian traffic, lawn care equipment, and potential vandalism. Cut-out pipe hole enables direct irrigation pipe connections. Built-in bolt hole includes a brass nut; lid can be secured with a 2-1/2 in. X 3/8 in. bolt (113BB, sold separately) if desired. The overlapping lid blocks dirt and other debris from entering the valve box and is marked for Irrigation Control Valve (ICV) use. Convenient slot makes lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver. Valve box is made of polypropylene (PP) using 70% recycled materials; cover is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using 83% recycled materials. Both box and lid are treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from sun exposure.
